The day started off rather badly; I had a temperature and was feeling woozy. Don’t know if it was due to the tablet I took for the cold I had …
Decided to go ahead with being vegan and managed to get through the day without too much hassle. Thankfully I was on leave and got rest.
Breakfast: Weetbix + Soy Milk
Lunch: Rice, Potatoe Stir Fry and Fake Mutton(Made from Soy-meat and Mushrooms)
Dinner: Fried (instant) Noodles (Made with some veggies and left-over fake meat from lunch)
It’s been a while since I had a entirely non-veg meal. It was a good change; I had to cook/prepare all the meals so far and also I needed way less oil.
I’m taking today’s lunch left-overs for tomorrow’s work lunch. Brekky should be the same as today. Dinner is at Veggie Bar. Looking forward to meeting the others!
P.S. If you want fake meat, it’s generally available in Lankan shops around Melbourne. Ask for “Soya meat”.
I’d been reading posts on http://www.two-shay.com/ for while after I saw Xavier speak at a RORO meetup, and decided to take a look at the about page … that’s how I learnt about vegan month.
I’ve been trying to get back to (start) a healthy life-style; which includes healthier eating and more excercise, and this tumblog is going to be my tracking diary. Maybe someone else might find it helpful as well. If you are interested look at the vegan month page and drop them an email!
The Way is shaped by use,

Do not hold fast to shapes
But let sensation flow into the world
As a river courses down to the sea.
Me? I’m dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It’s the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they’re going to do something incredibly… stupid.
